Oh Man, It’s October – 365 Pictures

It has been a while since I shared my 365 pictures.  Here are a few in no particular order:

#255 – I think I’m going to use this for my new logo.  Does it make you smile?

#275 – We lost another great one with the passing of Tom Petty.  We were fortunate to have seen him twice.  This is from 2014.  Wish I had better pictures but at least I have memories.

#270 – According to WordPress I have 51 followers!  People like me šŸ™‚

#264 – I have four scrapbooks documenting our yearly trips to Boulder Creek for the golf tournament.

#280 – I love how my phone tells me where I want to go next and how long it will take to get there šŸ™‚  But what if I’m not ready to go home yet?

#269 – Cards I made for my Etsy shop.  Some already sold!  Better hop on and grab yours quick!

#266 – My daughter was showing me the “fun” things you can do with snap-chat.  Using this for my September selfie because it makes my face look thin šŸ™‚

#267 – I love these marshmallow bits!  So yummy.

#271 – My first paycheck from Michaels.  Dream job #2.

#274 – Lots of crafting, not just cards being made in preparation for my Holiday Boutiques coming up next month.  Some of this is on Etsy too!

#276 – We found out my husband’s heart beats too fast and irregularly.  I thought he was just in love with me.  Turns out this is a medical condition.  We are handling it.

#279 – Book #17 in my Reading Challenge for the year.  Interesting tale about the dreams writers have.  Looking forward to reading the one by Stephen King.

#278 – October’s Full Moon through the trees.

#265 – This is a mini-album I made for a friend of ours who was celebrating his 60th birthday.  He owns a boat and I thought this would be cute for him.
#277 – Went to the Scorpion’s concert and fell in love with one of their songs we had not heard before.

#282 – This is the setting sun.  The sky is orange and hazy because of the massive fires about 60 miles north of us.  We could smell the smoke and our daughter going to college at Sonoma State was told to evacuate.  She is safe and her area is okay to go back to but the damage is horrific.  She said she felt like she was driving out of the apocalypse.

Certainly is a good collection šŸ™‚
I love your cards. Super cute! Been so long since I made cards, I really should get back to it.
The koala is adorable, and yes, it made me smile.
Neither my husband nor me have SnapChat, but the girls love to include us in their filter snaps. Got some hysterical snaps along the way. It is fun to play with our kids, no matter how šŸ™‚

I agree about playing with the kids and I find that now that they are so grown up, those play times are few and far between. Makes me sad that I didn’t take more time when they were younger but my hubby was sick a lot and I struggled to hold it all together, blah..blah..blah. I find that making the cards is really fun and I like trying to make each one a little different, even if they come from a kit. Thanks for stopping by, Joey!

  2. Janet,

Love the photos share! You cracked me up about your husband’s fast beating, irregular heart. I think you’re right it’s love and there’s no cure for that! Tell him it’s a hopeless disease! šŸ™‚ Seriously, so glad he’s getting the medical attention needed. So, glad your daughter is safe from the wildfires. I recall being able to smell the smoke from the wildfires in the Smoky’s last year about 45 miles south of us. We visited the park shortly after the big fire and I was so heartsick to see the damages. We didn’t go into Gatlinburg where a lot of businesses were destroyed, though. It’s sad to see the destruction of nature. Have a good day and feel free to link up with me today for WW!

We were busy yesterday with trips to the doctor and to a hearing for hub’s Workers’ Compensation case so I didn’t get a chance to link for WW. Maybe next week. I am really going to make an effort to start doing more of those type of things (Throwback Thursday, etc.). That is a goal I have for next year, blogging more consistently. The fire news keeps getting worse and worse. In addition to the danger of the fire, there is all the poor air quality as well. College classes have been closed at least until Monday and although my daughter’s living space is okay, she is not going back up until the air is better. Thanks as always for visiting and commenting.

Yes, I think that’s one of the reasons I enjoy doing this project. I forget during the year all the fun/interesting/unusual things that happen during the year. Thanks for stopping by. Hope your cards came!

      • I know I have mail, but haven’t been to pick it all up yet (we wait to have packages sent until I’m someplace where a family/friends can receive them). Will probably pick up packages tomorrow–they all should have arrived by then! I’m so excited.

Thanks. I don’t actually have snap chat. My daughter took that on her phone. She says I “don’t need” snap chat. I think she just doesn’t want me bothering her all the time or seeing the snaps she does LOL.
