Tell It Color – Night

We all know my fetish with the moon and the pictures I take of the full moon each month.  Here are some other gems, including a short video of the Pacific Ocean waves crashing against the bank which combines yesterday’s water with today’s night.

Of course the moon

And the sunset

A golf ball used to play night golfing – yes, there is such a thing.

It was a cloudy night

The walkway to our house at Christmas

The Excalibur Hotel in Vegas
Fireworks in front of our house on the 4th of July

The lights from cellphones at a concert

The colorful reflection of our friend’s pool

More fireworks

I was lucky to catch the colors in this one

At the Adele concert

Through our bedroom window.

Ah that moon

The train from across the street

Rare moon and Venus sighting

Over the streets of San Francisco

The tree lights at ATT&T Park where the Giants play
Tonight

The sunset

The lights on the Bay Bridge.  They are fun to watch because they change.

As seen from my car on the way home.
And the 20 seconds or so of the waves.

I don’t know why I never knew this but I just learned what my Pisces constellation looks like:
Night is exciting.  Night is mysterious.  Night is sexy.  Night is wondrous.  Night is adventure.
That’s night to me.  What’s night to you?

Night is good — it’s one of my favorite things. No sunscreen, shades, or hats needed, so I enjoyed all of these. Your sky shots are amazing!

I like the photos, especially the one of the lit-up cell phones at the concert!

Yes, Christy, it is so cool to see all those phones. Some are more dramatic than others. Beats burning your fingers while holding up a cigarette lighter as in the “olden days.” Thanks for stopping by!

You take really good pictures! Cool golf ball, and the moon from your window is pretty neat. From my west bedroom window I see the moon sometimes. We’ve been over the Bay Bridge many years ago! 🙂

“What’s night to you?” Snooze time. I’m a morning lark, so nights are not when I’m at my most alert. 😴

I don’t mind getting up if I have something fun to do but most of the time I’m a night owl, staying up reading until way past 11 or 12…which correlates with not wanting to get up at 6:30 when my alarm goes off 🙂

  5. Janet,

I am awestruck by the night sky, too. You captured the moon nicely. I like the first one with the leaves framing the moon and the one where the moon is behind some heavy clouds. Nights are mysterious and wondrous!

Thanks Cathy. Since I take a picture of the full moon every month I try to get it in different places in the sky so they don’t look like the same picture every month!
