The prompt from Linda G. Hill for today’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “Card.”
When you say card, of course the first thing that comes to my mind is greeting cards. I love making cards and like trying out new ideas. I hope you don’t mind if I share a few of the ones I have made recently:
I also make gift card holders for the holidays. Aren’t these guys cute? There is a brad holding the top on and it swivels up so you can stick a gift card inside.
These and more can be found in my
Etsy Shop. Remember me if you want to send a special card to someone.
Okay, end of shameless plug. I can’t help it if that’s where my mind goes. Don’t forget to visit the other participants. Happy Saturday all.

Thanks Dawn. I know you have been doing some lately too. Fun isn’t it?

Yes, it is. Mine are full of mistakes and very amateur, but I love doing them. I’ve even managed to get my craft supplies stowed and out of the way when we travel. When we’re still, though–it’s a crafty mess in the RV. I don’t think I’ll ever be as creative or make cards as beautiful as yours.

People don’t really notice mistakes as much as you might think, plus, I believe it adds to the uniqueness!

Super cute! I love cards, too! I haven’t made any since my third was born, but maybe I’ll get back to it one day š

Yes, I had to wait until my kids were grown too. They always wanted to play with my stuff and I didn’t want to share my toys š I’ve changed my ways of thinking now and everything is available for use!

I think there’s something about having little kids that makes us feel like we need some things to just be ours. At least for me. Time is my issue now.

You’re welcome. Do you know if your journal made it to Brooklyn yet?

I am not sure where it is at the moment. I know that late in September it was in Atlanta. I’ll see if I can find out!
