Our prompt today is “Television.”
I remember when I was young being able to stay at my girlfriend’s house on a Sunday night and watching Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color because they had a color TV and we didn’t.
It was a big deal to me because Liz and I would sit and watch those great shows and then I’d get to walk home by myself, just like a grown up. I was about 9 or 10. Those were the good old days! I wrote another post about it here. Happy Saturday!

We used to watch Walt Disney every Sunday. It was pretty spectacular, even in B&W.
It’s a rush being out when no one else is, especially when you’re young, isn’t it?

You bet. Things changed when my kids were born though. I watched them walk around the corner all the time.

We didn’t have color TV until I was in high school. I never knew what I was missing until I saw The Wonderful World of Disney show in color. It was amazing.

Right? We did get a color set eventually of course but I still watched with my girlfriend for quite a while.
