Day 2 of Love Is In Da Blog is your most hated love song.  This one is easier.  I liked the movie The Bodyguard but I affirm this song drives me crazy.

It is sad that Whitney Houston died so young and her daughter’s story is even sadder.  I have one of Whitney’s last songs, Million Dollar Bill, on my phone as the ringtone for my hubby.  Short and sweet today.  Trying to do some catch up in something other than typing…like laundry – LOL  Which love song drives you crazy?

    I can understand that it’s a song that can drives you up the wall because it was played so often. I hated it first, then loved it and now I can’t decide 😁. Thanks for sharing and taking part! 🙋🐝

    The trouble with that song is, it was played to death on the airwaves and everybody got sick of it. Dolly’s version had more emotion, IMHO. I’m with Alley Bean, above, about “Muskrat Love”, then there’s “Rock The Boat” by Hughes Corporation. Can’t stand those songs! “ShBoom ShBoom (Life Is But A Dream)” by The Crew Cuts is number one on the hated song list. Yech! The oldies station I used to listen to had it in their rotation and I always switched the channel when it came on.

    Dolly Parton wrote this when she chose to leave Porter Wagoner and start her solo career. It was her “thank you” to him. Here she’s doing it on his show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDqqm_gTPjc It’s a whole different song when she sings it.

    I can deal with I Will Always Love You, but Muskrat Love by the Capt and Toenail puts my teeth on edge. We all have that one song we hate and love to hate because we hate it.

    I like that song. The one that drives me around the bend is “Open Arms” by Journey. It’s so whiny!
