Water is the prompt for today and while I never get tired of looking at the ocean, I do have a different picture I can share. This was a waterfall I got while I was working at Michaels and I really liked having it in the studio.
Unfortunately, somehow it got broken and there is no room at the moment in the studio for another one. Maybe someday. Or, maybe I’ll put something in the backyard when I put together the little village.

I do like them! We’ve had two and I’d have another, but the thing is, we have hard water AND the cats love to drink from them, so they can be a lot of work here.

Yes, even just cleaning them can be a pain sometimes. The one I had had tiny rocks in the base and I had to empty them all out. 😦 I’ll pay attention to that before I get another one.

The thing is, we have to use filtered water… or replace the tubing… little too high maintenance long term.

I did, Erica, for about six months. I quit because I was spoiled by being able to work from home for so long and also because one of the duties was to clean the restrooms and that’s not for me, especially not for minimum wage!

They can be expensive but I was able to get a deep discount since I was working there. That’s another reason I haven’t replaced it yet.

I do not have a waterfall, but did when we were living in the house. Now, I seek out places with running water–a river, a stream, or even a lake (the ocean in a pinch). I think it’s the Pisces in me. It brings a sense of calm.

I have one in my Tea House, but I keep forgetting to replenish the water. I should do that today and sit and watch it and think of you at the beach!

I think its sooo cute!! Over the last few years I have moved a LOT so I tend not to buy things like that just incase I have to pack it up and move again lol I’m not sure if I could handle running water though, even just thinking about it makes me think I have to go to the bathroom haha
