I hope everyone is enjoying all the great music being featured in the Rocktober Music Fest, both on my little blog and the other people participating. You are visiting them, aren’t you? Since today is Sunday, we also have the Song Lyric Sunday group. I’m not into football and THE ASTROS BEAT THE YANKEES (YAY!) so I can spend the day nicely in my studio listening and crafting.
Last night the hubs and I went to a newish for us venue, the San Jose Civic, and saw REO Speedwagon. I had seen Steely Dan there many years ago with my girlfriend but Bill had never been. It is another one of the smaller venues (about 2500 seats) so almost any seat is a good one.

I tried to find a song they sang that had anything to do with today’s #SLS prompt of Lean/Sit/Stand and the closest I could get was this one:

I don’t remember ‘Tough Guys’. I guess when I think of this group ‘I Can’t Fight This Feeling’ is the first song to come to mind. 🙂

Hi Janet – I agree with Felicia – You have tons of energy and are always doing something fun. I believe that you have seen more live concerts this year than I’ve seen in my lifetime. Embarrassing for me, but true. 😀

Donna, somehow I feel like I have to make up for lost time because I never went when I was younger. Sad because ticket prices were much cheaper then! We have seen so many people multiple times that I have a feeling our concert days will be slowing down a bit.

Good going Janet with “they’ve got brains all where they sit”. I love your enthusiasm about music and the REO Speedwagon song Tough Guys was nice to hear. I like the Take It On The Run video that you recorded.
