One of the things that gets done in December is the December Reflection series with Susannah Conway. Here are the prompts for this year if you want to play along:
My smile is the first prompt:
Just me in my messy kitchen. One thing that made me really smile was the Star Seller badge I got on my Etsy site for this month! Another smile maker was the increase in Social Security that the hubby and I are getting. If you are on Social Security you can check out your increase on the My Social Security site.
Gold is the second:
You can see some gold in the papers I’ve put together to make another one of the exploding boxes. I finished the first one I did and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
What are you getting done in December? I have a list of things I WANT to get done. We’ll see how far I get.
I love Susanne’s prompts, she’s so creative. And, I’m with those that are of the philosophy to not add too many tasks for the month of December. I think a photo a day on Instagram may be doable, though? Glad to see the moments that have made you smile so far! And congrats on your Etsy account!

Thanks Shelley. I haven’t been keeping up with the prompts very well and not blogging much either as you can see. I am at capacity here on WP and have to decide what to do about space. I was really surprised and grateful about the Etsy shop this year. Hoping that continues! Have a wonderful Christmas!

You’re welcome. It’s a challenge to keep up with so much stuff at one time. It’s a good thing that your shop has kept you busy this year. What does it mean to be at capacity at WP? I host my own site, so maybe I won’t know about that issue?
I wish you success that keeps you smiling and that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!!

Capacity at WP means I don’t have any more room for photos/media in the free version. Yes, hosting your own might mean that you have unlimited. I may have to pay for a plan in order to be able to add more pictures without taking down any of my prior posts. I haven’t decided what to do yet.

Ah, thanks for the explanation. That’s a tough call. Or you could just reuse/edit old posts and then you’d have half the work done already? I haven’t gotten the message that I’m at max yet, so maybe I’m in the clear? For now… Good luck deciding what to do.

Congratulations on your Star Seller Badge! Well done!
I like the gold, black and white paper, very classy.
I had big plans to do all this Holiday stuff we couldn’t do last year. Until they filled C’s training schedule. Plus I may have to work more. So doing the Elf on the Shelf is probably the most festive thing I’m gonna do in December.

What a great selection of prompts – thanks for sharing Janet. Great news on becoming an Etsy star seller! Off that list, the one I’ve selected to answer is the best decision of 2021 – I’ve just signed up to a programme of 6 months coaching to move my life coaching to the next level. It’s scary (and a big investment) but is just what I need. So grateful to have met this wonderful new coach. Yes, even us coaches benefit from working with other coaches! Have a wonderful December, however you decide to spend it 🙂

Thanks Deb. I am doing some of the prompts on Instagram only but some will show up here. Congrats on your decision to step up your game. I am going through the process of deciding what to do with my Etsy stuff too. I’ve had more sales this year than I ever had but I know I could do more if I invest more time and energy to it. Hope your December is delightful too!

Yes Ally. Very low key is good, although part of that I’ll use to plan for next year which I want to be a sensational one!
