Fleeting February – 2024

Blink your eye and it will be March! Almost time for our A to Z. I am so not as ready this year as I was last year but if I modify my theme just slightly I think I’ll be okay.

Today, though, we’re going to talk about intention setting. If you know me you know that I pay great attention to the full moon and other “signs” from the Universe. I have listened to coaches like Jamie Ridler, Andrea Schroeder and Liz Lamoreux among others and taken some of their courses. I firmly believe that if you put it out there, Someone listens. Every morning I write my positive affirmations like this:

Obviously there are days that I get money and there are days that I make an Etsy sale. There are also days that I get transcription work to do. It is a rare day that I get the trifecta. Today was that day! We got a rebate check from Costco for using the card to get gas and other things, I got an email for a transcription project that will go through March and into April and I made an Etsy sale!

Days like today confirm my belief that intention setting really does work. Now if I can just get the “I am at my goal weight” and “I have thick luxurious hair” to come true!!!

How about you guys? Do you set intentions? Ever have a trifecta day? Will you be joining in the A to Z this year?

  1. Congrats! I love days like you just described. I have a variety of sales outliets and most (all?) are down-down-down. Sigh. Things will work out.

Do you set intentions? Not really, but maybe I do. I try to think of the best thing that could happen before I do things.

Will you be joining in the A to Z this year? Not gonna even try to do that. Once was enough.

    • I am glad you did it that once because I think that’s how I found you. I can’t even remember now what your theme was but it must have been something captivating, or maybe it was snarky? – LOL

It was sayings or quotes that include food, like Sufferin’ Succotash or ā€œI scream, You scream, We all scream for ice cream.ā€ Doing the research was fun, writing was okay, but dealing with all the comments every day was too much for me. 🫤

      • Says the person who gets hundreds of comments every time she posts – LOL. I get that it is easier to respond to that many from one post rather than having to do it every day for a month.

Congrats on the triple! And all the best for another successful A-Z this year. My writing partner has an idea for this year, but I’ve so much else going on that I think he will be going solo this time. I love participating, but it does take a lot of time and energy, and mine really needs to be focused elsewhere. I will try to pop in and read though šŸ™‚

  6. Hi, Janet. Yes, I planned my A to Z in the dark January days. I picked a theme that didn’t involve too much work. Looking forward to seeing what you have for us this April.
