March Meandering – 2018 – A to Z Challenge – 2018 – Theme Reveal

It is time for the big A to Z Challenge Theme Reveal!

For the last two years I’ve been participating in the A to Z Challenge with several hundred others and I’ve posted about that a few days ago.

Jacqui Murray of WordDreams actually gave me the idea for this theme when I first started working at Michaels in September last year.  Thanks, Jacqui!

My word for the year is Create and I am guessing that working in a store “Where Creativity Happens” is pretty in line with that idea.
So, in my Blogging from A to Z Challenge for 2018 I’m going to take you behind the scenes at Michaels Arts and Crafts store and introduce you to all the different things you may not have realized about this establishment.
Of course there are the usual items one might find in a craft store such as crayons and paints but it really is much more than that.  I’m hoping you’ll learn something new and maybe it will inspire you to visit a store and get your craft on!
There is still plenty of time to join the challenge, which runs through April, feel free to come along.  You can find all the details here.  It should be another fun month.

  1. This sounds like fun! I’m looking forward to your posts (although I should probably give my wallet to someone else . . .).

LOL I know what you mean. It hasn’t been as bad as it might have been working there. I don’t get there too early and by the time I’m done working I’m just ready to go home, not shop ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for coming along!

I like your theme. The equivalent in the UK is probably Hobbycraft. I have to limit my visits!

I am terrible at crafts but enjoy visiting craft stores to look at the wide range of products there. My older daughter is very artistic, so we’ve made many trips to Michaels. ๐Ÿ™‚

OMG ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I had no idea that is where you worked. I absolutely love, love, love ๐Ÿ’• that store. Iโ€™m even thinking of starting up a new blog, โ€œPattiโ€™s Pretty Planner.โ€ I buy a lot of my planning supplies there and the husband gets his canvases there too. I would make no money ๐Ÿ’ฐ there if I That was my job. Great topic, Iโ€™ll be following โ™ฅ๏ธ. Good luck, Mz. Janet. Have a great week, Blessings โ™ฅ๏ธ
