Hey Barbara, thanks for the prompt today of Television. I really don’t watch that much television, especially during the non-baseball season.
I do have a TV in my studio so I can catch the baseball games while I craft.

I have binge watched a few Netflix programs like Grace and Frankie, The Crown and Downton Abbey.
I do like Big Bang Theory and I used to watch Law and Order type programs or Chicago Hope or ER and really liked Monk but for the most part, even when I watched I would be doing something else like crocheting or coloring. Gotta keep those hands moving you know? Only a few more days left in January. What exciting things can we plan for February?

I think streaming has improved tv so much that maybe I don’t watch it more often, but actually watch what I really like more often — make sense? We like a lot of the same shows, Janet 🙂

Makes perfect sense. I hate watching commercials so streaming makes it so much easier. I also like that I can put things on a list so when I’m in the mood, I can go right to something.

We’re always doing something else with the TV on.

Right? I do some of my best coloring while watching TV.

Keeping our hands moving , as in crocheting, or colouring, is important for reducing our stress levels. These activities help calm the nervous system. 🤗

I agree.

Thanks, Janet!
I’m the same, if I’m interested in some TV program (few and far between) I still have to be doing something else at the same time. Coloring, or something on the computer. I’m too restless to sit for even 30 minutes staring at the TV, and have to get up and do something else. 🙂

When I am watching with my husband I can’t be on the computer or he would think I wasn’t paying enough attention.

I like the same TV shows as the ones you mentioned. Lately I’ve been watching more TV which surprises me. Maybe I’m going through a phase.

Sort of, yes. Plus just in the mood to zone out, I guess.

This is impressive! I had a boy over to watch movies (the first and only time) right before Christmas but I only have my laptop and I told him this before. So he gets here and says I could get just a small tv and hook it up via chrome cast or something and like I COULD but then I’d have to pack it up and move it When I move 😂😂!! No thank you, ma’am!

We had a huge old TV that I had in my craft room for a while. I was so happy when I got this new, smaller, thinner one. Fits there just perfectly! I watch some YouTube demos too. Moving this stuff from just the house to the studio was something I’d rather not do again for a LONG time!

I am the same, have to have busy hands! I crochet, color, or sometimes write as I watch tv.

Writing is good too! I have to be careful or my husband thinks I’m not paying enough attention.

This is a fun post, Janet. We don’t have baseball here but I have read about it. Sounds like a great game.

It is my favorite sport to watch. Looking forward to the new season that will start in April.
