Happy Song Lyric Sunday folks. Jim’s prompt is Touch/Feel. Thought of this one during our time of social distancing:
But thinking nothing, nothing could go wrong, but now I know
She has a built in ability
To take everything she sees
And now it seems I’m falling, falling for her.
She reaches in, grabs right hold of your heart
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
It takes control and slowly tears you apart.
But she crawls under your skin, you’re never quite the same, and now I know
She’s got something you just can’t trust
It’s something mysterious
And now it seems I’m falling, falling for her.
She reaches in, grabs right hold of your heart
She seems to have an invisible touch yeah
It takes control and slowly tears you apart.
I wrote about seeing Genesis for the A to Z in 2017. It was a great show and I saw that they were going to tour again in Europe but that had to be cancelled of course. Who knows when we’ll be able to go to concerts anymore and Phil Collins wasn’t in the best of health as it was. Even more reason I am so happy I took so many pictures of the ones we did attend. Stay safe out there people.

A true classic and I think I know all of the words. A Genesis concert in real life would be beyond amazing. Crossing my fingers.

Right? Maybe because of the forced down time, they’ll have the energy to come to the states to do one when we can co-mingle again.

My three adult children are huge Phil Collins fans because they listened with their dad growing up. 🙂

Wow! I would not have thought Genisis would have toured as recently as 2017! Of course, there are always a lot of reunion tours.

Laurie, Genesis toured in 2007, I just wrote about it in 2017! They had set up some for Europe and I was crossing fingers they would make it here but now who knows? The hubby doesn’t think it’s really a Genesis reunion unless Peter Gabriel is with them, which he wasn’t then and I don’t think he was going to be this time either.
