February went by in a blur. My mom-in-law is settled in her new place next door and it really is working out well. I go over twice a day at least to make sure she has taken her meds and do little things around the house for her. We’ve gone to the library 3 times and even took a stroll through the dollar store. That is way more than she was doing when she was in Oregon.
Now it’s time for me to prep for the A to Z Challenge in April. I have an idea of what I’d like to do this year but I’m not sure I’ll be able to pull it off. More research is required and I thought I was going to be able to get some pictures taken the other night but it turns out I was driving instead of my husband and we couldn’t quite coordinate the timing. I knew what I was looking for but by the time I was able to explain it to him so that he could take the picture/video, we had passed it – LOL. Any of you married folks out there know what I’m talking about? It was not easy to just go around the corner to take another try at it so I told him I’d plan the route more carefully and have him drive next time so I could hop out of the car to take the pictures and he could come back and get me. I better get my act together though because the theme reveal is on March 12!
I’m excited to be going to the Scrapbook Expo on Saturday. I didn’t go last year and the year before it didn’t happen because of COVID. Hoping I can get some good deals on necessary supplies but will probably come home with some extras too. I won’t have my niece there to help keep me away from the papers. I am a paper addict.
I will leave you with a couple of pictures I’ve taken recently. We have had some gorgeous skies and the other day was a hailstorm that was quite exciting. It’s the closest thing we get to snow around here. See my little miniature gnome garden in the background? I need to redo it as the wind has knocked it over a couple times and things have broken.

That’s all I’ve got for now. Hope everyone out there is doing okay.
Looking forward to your special A-Z Janet! 🙂

We had some hail here too a couple of weeks ago. It didn’t stay on the ground very long but it was exciting (it doesn’t take much to get a Southern Californian excited about the weather 🙂 ). Have fun on your A-Z challenge!

We have had a couple of hail experiences lately along with some very booming thunder and then it just goes away and the sun is shining. Crazy.

I like the theme of this year’s A 2 Z Challenge and will enjoy watching you do it. I did it once and it is too much work for me. Glad to see you blogging, btw.

Thanks John. Got the main part (the A to Z) figured out last night. Now it’s on to getting pictures and writing it all up. Hope I still have time!
