Interesting that I have walked down this street (my own block) almost twice a day for the past four months when I take Benny for his daily constitutional and never noticed the curved bricks in this driveway until today when I was thinking about the August Break prompt of “curved.”
I have seen these succulents and love the way they look too. I think if we ever get around to doing anything with our yard I want some.
Do you notice that you pay more attention to your surroundings when you are looking for something specific? Or are you one like my husband who notices everything?

Pretty! I notice many, many things. Outside is very pleasantly distracting to me. I’m like one of those dogs that roams off chasing scents, or those kids from Family Circus… Tra-la-la!

The flowers look so beautiful! What flowers are they?

Some kind of succulent or cactus. I’m not really sure. They are pretty big and I’ve seen some that are really dark, like black and those are so lovely.

They are actually in a neighbor’s yard. I am not really a plant grower.
