It is September and that is the month when for the last 22 years we have been going to our cozy spot in the woods of Boulder Creek, CA. My husband and his friend started a golf tournament there and it is such a beautiful, relaxing place. I don’t golf so I get to do my own thing while the guys are out on the links. I do get together with the other wives but that is mostly in the evenings. Introvert me loves the peace and quiet and the beautiful scenery.
I tried to recreate a cozy spot in our backyard but when we cleaned it out and made room for the studio, things got moved around. Besides, those chairs are old and worn out so they are on the way to the dump.

The relaxing spot looks so inviting – and your slippers, so CUTE! Cheers to enjoying quiet (aka creative) time as an introvert! I guess I’d prefer no hat – this year (at 54 years old, I finally wore a baseball cap for the first time since college…I like how the bill protected my face!)

No hat is acceptable. I usually wear a baseball cap when I go to the Giants games and of course my sparkly cap when walking Benny.

Perfect cozy spot for relaxation and a nice, sweet glass of wine. I love, love, love the slippers–they’ll go perfectly with the floppy sun hat.

Don’t know why one posted and the other one didn’t? You were in the trash from which I rescued you. We go at the end of September so I’ve got a few more posts until then!

Thanks for rescuing me. The mysteries of how WP processes comments are endless… π

I’m not sure that I know what a golf hat is. Like a baseball cap with more of a brim? I know what a floppy hat is, of course– but I’m going with straw hat.

Straw hat works. Golf hat is like a baseball cap. Same brim, just with golf logos. π

Thanks Jill. I never got into golf. It’s kind of expensive and I think I’d rather spend that money on craft supplies π

Your spot does look cozy and the wine looks inviting, too! Since I play golf, I’d pick the golf hat. Enjoy your getaway, Janet!
