Missed posting yesterday. I stopped in the middle of the day to watch the Giants game and work in the studio so I lost track of time. The #SeeYouInSeptember prompt was School Supplies and although I have no kids to buy school stuff for, Office Depot remains one of my favorite stores. Pens and markers are my weakness and I love having lots of different points and colors.
Just a few…
The
#SeeYouInSeptember prompt for today is “Cool Weather.” The temperatures have dropped around here but I know that our Indian Summer will afford us some warmer days for the next month or two. This is what I saw out our back door this morning.
I have been wearing at least a long sleeved shirt or light sweater when I walk Benny in the mornings, especially since he is a sniffer and we make multiple prolonged stops so he can smell the ground. We are also noticing increased activity since we live a few blocks from the local elementary school. That takes some time too as he has to check everything out. I swear our dog has a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out)!
Today’s pick one is Gray or Blue skies and why? I like blue skies but the mystery lover in me likes the gray cloudiness as well. Tough call. What about you?

oooo look at all those markers!! I love them! hehe I am totally loving the cooler weather that we are having lately. It’s just a nice 12-15 in the morning, 20 around lunch, and cooling down again when I leave school for some refreshing air on the way home. Pretty awesome!

Fall, my favorite season. We have had a cooler week and the #2doods are loving it, spending hours outdoors. But next week the heat is back. I hope for just that week…

I don’t mind the heat. It kills my husband though.

We’re just the opposite…it melts me and hubby ignores it for the most part.

I like blue skies in theory. They photograph well, but I am a fan of gray skies. Less glare, more ways to interpret them.

True, Ally. Blue skies tend to mean clear sailing and that is always welcome but I don’t mind a little of the unknown once in a while. Have a great weekend.

Janet,
I used to love, love, love buying markers and pens, especially during my penpalling years. These days if I buy markers it’s for stamping and artwork. I don’t use markers frequently so they run the danger of drying out without get full use of them. What a shame and huge expense loss! I’m going to wait to buy more until I know that I can put them to good use, repeatedly. π You cracked up with your doggie’s medical problem or lack of really, FOMO. lol That’s really good! π Have fun this weekend, my friend!

He has to have his nose in EVERYTHING and he follows us from room to room. I know what you mean about the markers drying up. Pretty sure some of the ones in the picture have done that. I’ll have to go through and weed them out. π Have a great weekend yourself.
