Tower of Power is another local band, starting across the Bay in Oakland. We’ve seen them twice, both times they were the opening act on a 3 band bill. The first time was in 2014 where they were on the ticket with Steve Miller and Journey. It was at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View. We went with a couple friends and had a great time.
The second time they started the San Francisco Fest huge concert that was reminiscent of the Day on the Green style of the 70’s.
I don’t have a setlist for the first show but here’s what they sang for the second.

I’ve not heard of Tower of Power, but as one of your previous commenters said, that’s quite the horn section, so I shall be going to check them out now 🙂
