V is for Video Games, Volleyball, Vista Point

Video games are not something that we do often but we have been seen playing video poker while sitting at a bar in Reno. We also have played some games on our phones, mostly word games to keep our minds fresh like Word Splash. I guess those count as video games. We like to see who gets farther, although he is way ahead of me since I’m still working and he’s retired.

Volleyball is probably out of the question for us now, although a nice volleyball game on the sand at the beach would be fun.

Lastly is Vista Point. There are many spots on the highways where you can take an unplanned excursion to see the sights from a Vista Point. The one that will always mean the most to me is Logan Shoals Vista Point in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. That is where we had our very small wedding and it was just a wonderful setting. We stopped back by there on our 25th anniversary. It had changed a little from what I remembered but it was still a beautiful spot.

I think it’s time for another visit there, don’t you?

Time for you to re-visit Vista Point for sure – and to take new photos for your future memory bank. I’ve stopped all online games as they take up too much time and my to-do list is massive! 😉 But I think Himself would love to get back into them once he’s retired.

  8. Awwwe you guys are so cute. Video games is an addiction …I cannot touch them. I know this and I accept it and therefore I stay away from them. I used to love volleyball in high school. I think my boobs would knock me out now. Vista Point looks like an awesome place to visit when me and Tall Cool ☺ne retire and go cruisin’. I hope we can keep in touch after this A2Z challenge is over. I appreciate you coming to visit me.

    Cheers,

Our daughter played volleyball in high school and it was fun watching her. Watching. I definitely don’t write as much when the challenge is over but for sure we can stay in touch. Yours is one of the blogs I have on my follow list! Thanks Barbie.

I went to Zephyr Cove last July for my first trip to Tahoe. We have friends from Palm Springs who moved one mile from us in AZ who have a home there. It was gorgeous!

I’ll say it’s time for another visit! I think the U.S. are doing a great job providing vista points!
In my country there are a lot of gorgeous sights, but there’s nowhere to stop and leave the car.
