Just in case you couldn’t tell by now, I’m mostly winging this year’s challenge. Some of my ideas are like yesterday’s, skating on thin ice (think errands too). But if winging it is going to get me through, I’ll take it.
How about a little Jazz date? While hubby and I are more into rock and roll, we did go to a Jazz concert once. To be honest, I couldn’t tell you who was playing but we look like we’re having fun, don’t we? Yes, even though we live in 49-er territory the Dallas Cowboys are our favorite football team. Hubby’s been a fan for his entire life. I’ve said that baseball is my game but I do like the Cowboy uniforms. Something about that blue star.

Putting together jigsaw puzzles could be another fun date night. You don’t always have to go out to be on a date. They even have them online now so you don’t have to figure out what to do with it when it’s finished!
And then perhaps a date on a jet ski. I found this one that goes from Long Beach to Catalina Island, somewhere I’ve always wanted to go. Doesn’t it look like fun? Unfortunately we’ll probably have to find another way to get to Catalina because the disclaimer on the jet ski’s about health conditions prohibit my hubby from engaging.
Okay. Made it through J. See you tomorrow!

Perfect date! Definitely winging it. I had the basic ideas for each letter but have made some adjustments along the way.

They will slurp your blog depending on time frame you choose You pick your book covers and photos and you can view how it looks. Sometimes I go back to my blog yo correct things for better print. After corrections you’ll have to reslurp again. I have a post written on it on my site you can search for. But felt free to email me for any help

For pantsing it, you are doing great!
I’m a HUGE jazz fan, Himself is not, so I do jazz with jazz friends. I love the idea of jet skis, but with my bad back – it might be unwise.

I like smooth jazz. I think the sax is one of my favorite instruments.

I think I’d kill myself on a jet ski but I could do a Jacuzzi date for J instead. That’s more my speed! Weekends In Maine

It’s never too late in adding an update. I add things in if they come to mind as I print my blog in books yearly

Oh, that’s interesting. How do you do that?

Just bring it back in edit mode.

Love it! I might do that just for my A to Z’s. It would be cool to have those in book form.

Yes it would make nice memories. I did my Nancy Drew separate in a book.

I liked your suggestions I just know I’m not safe on a jet ski! 😉

That looks like Mindi Abair on saxophone, or maybe Candy Dulfer. Am I right on either?

I think I wrote Candy Dulfer in my planner to help me remember. Good eyes, John!

They’re both great sax players. Candy’s father Hans is also a big name in jazz in the Netherlands.

Ah you live in an area where there are lots of day trips and fun places to go for an over- night.
The jet ski to Catalina would be a real stretch. I’ve sailed that before and that’s a long haul if you run out of fuel (it’s the Pacific Ocean). Take a ferry ride over – Catalina is a lovely place.

We’ve done lots puzzles through the years – with lots of family helping on the 1000 piece ones. My problem is what to do with them after. They are pretty so hate dismantling them. Have a few up today. Never been on a jet ski but they look like fun!

I agree about what to do with them after they are finished. I have seen some people frame them to hang on the wall but it would have to be a pretty good one for me to do that.

As a kid I did a 1000 pieces jigsaw – I think my patience is forever used up!
Jet ski does look like fun, but I don’t think I’m cut out for it. I’ll be the one recording it and making a cool video 🙂

Yes, that sounds perfect. I’m still interested in getting to Catalina, but I’ll see what other options we have!

The jetski would be the reluctant winner for me. Jazz gives me headaches ad I’m too impatient for jigsaws.

Jetski sounds like a great idea or may be outdoors with a Jacuzzi 🙂
